Clara Shi (Flute)

Flautist Clara Shi is a dedicated musician whose journey began at age three. Her early talent was recognized with an international gold medal at fifteen. She built on this foundation by earning a Bachelor of Music under VSO principal Christie Reside. Her training was further enriched by mentorship from Juilliard professor Carol Wincenc and masterclasses with artists like Ian Clark.

Actively involved in her local music scene, Clara frequently works as a flute clinician for Metro Vancouver schools and performs as a guest principal flute. She is pleased to present her performance of the beloved "Carnival of Venice."
